About the Alamo Country Club

ACC is in south Texas in the heart of the Rio Grand Valley and is located on the southeast corner of Tower Road and FM 495 in Alamo, Texas. Alamo is just north of the Mexican boarder and a one-hour drive from South Padre Island. Tourist-friendly Mexican towns offer ethnic food and keepsakes. Nearby cities of McAllen, Mission, Edinburgh and Harlingen provide excellent hospitals and a wide variety of restaurants, entertainment and shopping opportunities.

ACC is a Home Owners Association governed by a Board of Directors elected by members. The 200-acre property consists of 526 member-owned lots, most located on either the golf course or the nature park. ACC is exceptionally proud of its nine-hole golf course, which includes practice areas for pitching/chipping, sand trap play, and putting. The large clubhouse houses a golf pro shop, administrative offices, library, workout room, fully equipped kitchen, card room, and a great hall. Other amenities include a large heated swimming pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, and horseshoe pits. Members sponsor a variety of activity clubs. A full-service pavilion is also available for parties, picnics and other activities. Additionally, ACC features an RV storage area.

ACC's nature park is a fine new addition to the community and when completed will attract a great variety of birds and butterflies passing through on their annual migration. The Rio Grande Valley is in a main corridor of the North American Migration Flyway. Several rare birds and butterflies have been sited at Alamo Country Club. We invite you to come watch with us!
